ニュージーランドターム留学中の中学３年生３名は、１月末から現地校Sacred Heart Girls’ Collegeに通い始めました。新しい環境の中、現地校での様々な種類の授業だけでなく、クラブ活動や学校行事にも積極的に参加しているようです。新しいホストファミリーとの生活にも慣れ始め、現地校でも友人ができ、充実した留学生活を過ごしています。現地からのレポートを紹介いたします。

「Hi! It has been about a month since we started our new life in NZ. Since we started to commute to Sacred Heart Girls’ College, we have experienced so enjoyable time. Although there are numerous things that I’m not sure, thanks to the support of many new friends and staffs, I have had meaningful time. Also, my new host family has a large farm, I often help them the harvest of peaches, potatoes, and plums on weekends. All of their daily lives are fresh for me. I have got lots of stimulation and interest every day.」

「Hi! Everyone of Japan! I’m Nana. It has been about a month since I came to New Zealand. It really flew by. We started our school class!! It’s difficult but it’s really fun.」

「Hello, everyone! The local school has recently started! We joined the Color Run on February 7th. It was awesome and we became colorful!! The classes started on February 10th. I take Classical Studies, Music, Religious Education, Drama, Digital Technology, and so on. In Classical Studies, I learned about Myth especially Greek Gods. In Drama class, I played some games with my classmates and read the script. I felt it was a very valuable experience, and it was really fun for me! On the weekend, I rode a trolley train and went to the beach and Kiwi house with my host parents! At Kiwi house, I saw many kinds of birds. Kiwi is New Zealand native land bird. I was able to see them twice at that time, so I was impressed! I want to do my best in the remaining month and a half! See you!」
